Moor Park to host outdoor cinema screenings

Hundreds of people have already signed up to see films shown on a big screen in Moor Park.

The outdoor cinema is being put up during the August Bank Holiday weekend.

All films are free to watch – you just need to bring something comfy to sit on.

Preston City Council is organising the showings of The Incredibles, The Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The giant screen is being put on the Moor Park Avenue car park facing the football pavillion.

The showings are:
12noon – The Incredibles (U)
3pm – The Guardians of the Galaxy (12A)
6pm – Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12)

The showings are on Sunday 27 August.

You can bring your own food but there will be catering vans on site.

Between the screenings a short film or film trivia quiz will be held.

It’s free to attend but you’re asked to register in advance via Eventbrite.
