Two teenage boys, 15, charged with city-centre stabbing

Two 15-year-old boys have been charged with the stabbing of a man outside a fast-food restaurant in Preston, say police.

They will appear at Preston Magistrates Court this morning accused of S18 Assault (Grievous Bodily Harm).

At around 5.45pm on 21 February police were called by the Ambulance Service to Friargate, Preston following reports a man had been stabbed.

An 18-year-old man suffered significant injuries to his arm and back and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact police on 101 quoting log 928 of 21 February.
